I purchased simplibudget because it received good reviews on blogs and it looked like it had all the features I wanted at a good price. Much to my dismay, after purchasing it, i found that it would actually not import qfx/ofx files provided by my bank, and so I sent support an email regarding the matter.
In less than an hour, I received an email from Stephen, the developer, personally attending to my bug. I was able to send him a copy of my file, he found the issue, fixed it, and sent me an updated copy of the app, and now it works. Now THATs customer service. Im glad I purchased simplibudget just for that reason alone. It helps that it also does everything I need as a basic budget management/tracking application, with a simple interface and no-nonsense design. It took me a bit of messing around to get used to the category budgeting system and how it works with the transactions, but once it clicked it actually makes perfect sense, and I really like it. It makes it so that I have to think in terms of a budget, rather than just simple expense tracking, and thats great, but it also does expense tracking well. I like the app, well worth the price.
